PROJECT INSPARATION evolved from the “beauty nights” that Ashley & Brittney Drakeford shared with their mother. It was their time to work on reconnecting the mind, body and soul. Many women are fortunate enough to be able to de-stress and refocus their energy with time at the spa with friends or at a beauty parlor. Project In-Spa-ration is an early mother’s day gift and strives to share the “beauty night” experience with others. The day features several workshops including: a mini-manicures, facials, massages, along with health & wellness demonstrations.
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
Volunteers and donations are needed to make Project In-Spa-ration a success! Nail technicians, massage therapists, health & beauty professionals, are especially urged to help. Donations will be accepted until April 29th, 2012.

On December 10, about 200 Congolese protestors and supporters rallied outside of the White House, denoucing the results of a recent presidental election between current President Joseph Kabila and former Prime Minister Etienne Tshiekedi. The protest was organized by Friends of the Congo, an organization that works in partnership with Congolese to bring about peaceful and lasting change in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Current President, Joseph Kabila was declared the winner, on The elections have been marred by violence and allegations of corruptions. For instance, the Carter Center, a US election monitoring group said stated that there was a turnout of more than 100 percent in Kabila’s home region and the results from more than 2,000 polling stations in Kinisha had disappeared suggest that there were “serious irregularities,”.

We’re colleting men’s coats of all sizes and the following items:
Washcloths, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Hand Sanitizer, Lip Balm, Bar Soap, First Aid Kits, Floss, Deodorant, Socks, Hats, and Gloves
